The main purpose of the memory is to store programs data so that the CPU access and purpose it. It also can store partial solutions during the computer run. There are main two types of memory.

A. Primary Memory

I. RAM {random access memory or read write memory}

II. ROM {read only memory}

The purpose if a system retrieves data and intruction from the primary memory order to execute program with the help of CU and ALU.
