Word pad is a simple word processing application program. It is one of the most popular accessories of windows xp. It always comes with windows xp. So we needing install it specially as of other programs. With the help of this program, we can create simple documents, reports, article etc.
STARTING SYSTEM:
1. Click on start button.
2. Choose program.
3. Choose accessories.
4. Choose word pad and click on it.
IN WORD PAD:
1. Control button.
2. Title bar.
3. Minimize button.
4. Maximize button.
5. Restore button.
6. Close button.
7. Menu bar.
8. format bar.
9. Tool bar./ standard bar.
10. Cursor.
11. Ruler.
12. Document bar.
ABOUT MENU BAR:
File menu:
New command:
This command is use to create new document.
1. Click on first menu.
2. Click on new document. After clicking at the that time new dialogue box will be appear.
3. Click on ok button.
OPEN COMMAND:
Open command is use to open our previous file or document.
a. Click on file menu.
b. Click on open command.
c. Then choose your require file or type your required file name.
d. Click on open button.
SAVED COMMAND:
Save command is use to save or protect your file.
a. Click on file menu.
b. Click on saved command.
c. Then give your file name.
d. Click on save button.
SAVE AS DOCUMENT
Save as document is use for save your file more than tow name and more place.
a. Click on file menu.
b. Click on save as command.
c. Give other file name.
d. Click on save command.
PRINT COMMAND:
Print command is use for print our document on paper, tracing or flex.
a. Make your document with suitable format.
b. Click on file menu.
c. Click on print command.
d. Choose required printer name, printing page, number of copies etc.
e. Click on ok button.
PRINTER PREVIEW:
This command is use to preview your document on print format.
a. Click on file menu.
b. Click on this command.
c. After finishing click on close button.
PAGE SETUP:
This command is use to setup your page or document with suitable margin.
a. Click on file menu.
b. Click on page setup command.
c. Then give your require margin.
d. Click on ok button.
EXIT;
This command is use to exit from this program.
a. Click on file menu.
b. click on exit command.
